So pointless. Otherwise I haven't done much lately just going to work, purifying RNA, precipitating it, washing it, turning it into cDNA and doing it all again. Huzzah!

On Sunday we did go bed shopping. It was a tad annoying as I am the one that's gonna buy it but the sales guy just talked to Richard. Reminds me of that time we were dress shopping Stinky and that woman had to know who the bride was and we just left you to the wolves. He he he

Oh crap, we're not gonna have to plan a bridal shower for Mindy are we?

Otherwise my new apartment search contiunes, if I find anything I'll tell you all. We need to have another firmettes get together. Either plan a search mission for Sandra or elect a new One Member.

So let's see on Saturday I moved my butt down to Katies. It was fairly uneventful. Got stuff unpacked, played with aggie, then I got to show my horrible guitar skills as I attempted and failed at Free Bird on Katie's Guitar Hero. I did get all the way through Carry on my Wayward son the first time.

Then I went out to eat dinner with Richard and his Mom, came back and got myself a nice new shower curtain. It's blue. Pretty blue.

Sunday I was mostly a bum and spent the morning with Katie's Katie and Chancy watching random TV after some lunch and food shopping I did that again for the most part. John came over and we finally got my internet working, then things got interesting.

We had some taco salads and then Katie, John and I took off for his place to get a computer desk. We stole his roomies car and put the back seats down. So Katie and I laid down while the computer desk molested her.

When we got back we all played Mario board game thingie and I managed to beat everyone as evil Luigi even though I had no idea what I was doing.

Then under the dead of night we all got into the back of the car three of us laying down and snuck off to steal poop bags. I think we managed to pull off a dangerous mission even if we did get whistled at and Katie was checking guys out again.

Only I would go out to steal 519 poop bags the night before I start my first big person job.

Now I'm just getting settled in. TOday I went out with Richard and got myself a Queen set of bed stuff. It was the lead ugly we could find. I got a cookbook too so I can make stuff. Yay!

I'm just getting settled into it all. New routine, kinda weird to be back here again too.

Oh yeah Stinky I've been thinking about coming up to Madison to see the concert on my brithday.

Long story short, I shouldn't watch eye candy later at night.

So my boytoy is spending the weekend with his mother and after a long week I decided I should take it easy tonight. This mostly involved me pampering my feet, taking a long bath and settling down to enjoy a movie. He he he you guys kept trying to find some guy for me to lust after and I done founded one all on my own :D

We should all get together and have a hot guy marathon. Everyone picks a movie with their stud in it. It'd be interesting.

Tomorrow I head off to Lincoln to move in with Katie for a few months or so. When I get my life more together I'll tell you all what's up and pass off address's and what not.

You ever notice how you keep weird and random stuff around that you keep saying you'll use for something and then you completely forget you have it til you have to move?

I cleaned out random drawers and found some old toothbruses and paintbruses I think I was gonna make something with. I forget. Not to mention all the free stuff I got I won't use for anything. But you never know.

So about 3 and a half bags of garbage and a few new boxes later, most of the walls are cleaned off. I have some stuff jammed into other things. I was going to attempt taking things out to the van then I realized that hey it's raining that would be dumb.

Tomorrow will be the heavy lifting. :p

I am just killing some time, twiddling my thumbs as it were.

Right now I am in Lincoln, waiting til the university opens again on tuesday so I can fill out paper work. Gotta get a parking permit and a new ID card and uh give a blood sample I think.

Then on Wednesday I am heading to Ames to pack up everything. Whenever I get all that done and loaded up on my own (I am glad I don't own much) I'll head to Norfolk and then drop some of it off before going to Lincoln.

I really should ask Katie where I am going to live, huh?

Oh well, just a heads up.

YAY! I finally got one, no more job interviews!

It's working at the Beadle Center doing RNAi work as well as maintaining algae mutants and what not.

I start June 4th so I'm gonna be busy doing lots of stuff and packing.

I'll hopefully be moving in with Katie over the summer and then I'll use that time to find my own place.

I got my first christmas tree. I'm rather proud of it. It ended up being blue and white cause well it had to have blue lights and white goes well with blue so . . . It's a bit sparse I need more homemade ornaments to give it some character. And I still have to get some stuff from home (nothing on the top right now).

I've also been wearing out the new Groban CD I got! If anyone wants a copy just say so. I'm working on memorizing the songs. Getting there.

Otherwise lab stuff continues to be a pill, but it's getting doneish. So there is that at least. Oh well.

I've been working on making an anniversary present. So now I have some hard boiled eggs I have no idea what to do with (don't ask).

You'll also be so surprised that I finally bought my own booze. Yeah I know. Nothing major just some rum, but still. It was weird having to actually use my ID. The only other time I used it to buy anything was the playboy. It's sad that I can't even look older than 18.

I went to the farm on Friday to get some cow fat. It was interesting to watch my prof get fat and round up cows. Otherwise I haven't been up to anything exciting at all.

I'll probably be coming home over Thanksgiving if anyone wants to see me then.
